Today’s post features another look at the Anthropologie kimono. In this post, the kimono is re-styled for a dressy evening occasion. Instead of pairing it with the Eileen Fisher harem pant and a black column (previous post), I have chosen a soft, dove grey column. The grey wide leg trousers match the movement of the floating kimono that frames them.
To add more elegance and shimmer to this evening look, I added silver earrings from Ippolita. They are light and airy and match the delicate quality of the silk kimono. The light violet amethyst and silver tassel necklace is a vintage piece from the 1920’s. My husband gifted me with this necklace on our honeymoon. The Arty Ring is from YSL and the stone is a coral color. The belt is a Missoni grey silk bejeweled belt and adds another layer of sparkle to this outfit.
