Today, I am wearing one of my favorite color combinations: red and black. The red off-the-shoulder top (here) serves to highlight a silver cross set with coral stones and a coral bead necklace. These pieces were designed and hand-crafted by Rocki Gorman …a New Mexico artisan. I had these pieces on lay-away and arranged the payments to span over six months. Also, I took advantage of a 25 % discount being offered at the time + free shipping. This red cross pendant is a smaller version of the one shown on the website. It is also a lot less expensive…particularly with a 25% discount. Still, these are investment pieces, but the layaway and monthly payment option made it possible for me to purchase. This is from the Quintessential Sante Fe Collection. I am passionate about artisan crafted pieces…particularly from New Mexico!
The vintage silver and coral earrings are from Mexico. They are screw-back earrings that can be adjusted for comfort. The black and red bangle stack are all vintage Bakelite found at resale shops. The red coral ring was found at an Evanston, Il boutique…Accents Plus.
All the red pieces are anchored by my Eileen Fisher black harem pants and a fabulous black leather wrap tassel belt from B-Low the Belt. The belt was included in the Rachel Zoe Fall Box of Style.
RARE PICTURES TAKEN WITH MY HAIR DOWN
I rarely wear my hair down. It is much more comfortable up and piled into a messy bun… which is more my style. I decided to include a couple of pictures with my hair down to show the length and texture of my hair. This length allows me to style my hair in many ways.
