The Green Golds of Autumn

Today’s post has been inspired by nature.  Autumn is in full color and the trees have painted the sky and lawns with greens, golds, reds, oranges, browns, and several shades of violet.  Trees appear like lamps lit from within and the lawns look like painter’s boxes.  Inspired by all of this seasonal beauty, I styled my outfit to match some of the colors that fell at my feet, today.  I have on a  green-gold knit tunic with a matching green-gold tassel wrap from the Eileen Fisher (Fall 2013 Collection).  I have paired the tunic and scarf with a pair of silk  Rag and Bone gold and blue wide leg pants.

Gold earrings and gold bracelets were chosen to match the green-gold of the fallen Ginkgo leaves I found on my walk, today.  In addition, I have on a vintage gold-tone tassel necklace which can be seen peeking out from behind the tassel wrap.

The earrings I have on were found in Florence, Italy at a jewelry store on the Ponte Vecchio.  The small frog earrings are solid gold.  A gold and burgundy orchid leaf is suspended from each of them.
